About

Welcome to the Blog of Meng Syn.   Why BLOG?   Why not?  Its not a bad idea to get in the habit of writing one’s thoughts since it saves one having to bother someone else with them!  Also, it seems to me totally unfair for me to talk to most of my friends in one sided conversations  while working on them in the dental office since its hard to comment on anything when there are 15 fingers in ones mouth.  Thus the comment sections.

“I heard the music, and I wrote to it.
Some people beat drums. Some people strum guitars.
It’s all in the music you hear. ”
~Hunter S. Thompson

My Favorite Quotes

The charm of fly fishing is that it is the pursuit of what is elusive but attainable, a perpetual series of occasions for hope.   -  John Buchan

Change is not a destination just as hope is not a strategy. – Rudy Giuliani

“Far better it is to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure…than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy much nor suffer much, because they live in a grey twilight that knows not victory nor defeat.”

Theodore Rosevelt
